About Hahn Motors

Hahn Motor Company was founded in Aberdeen, Washington in 1924 as a Chrysler Plymouth dealership, then moved to Yakima in 1940.  It has occupied the same location for the past 64 years.

Mercedes-Benz awarded the company with a franchise in 1973, quickly followed by BMW in 1977.  During the course of its lifetime, Hahn Motor Company has proven itself as a premier dealership, serving its customers and community to award winning levels.

The ability of the company to achieve this level of service is due to the professionalism and loyalty of its employees.  The years they have spent helping form and make this company so successful is a source of pride to the dealership principle, Dick Hahn.   Dick’s previous service manager retired after more than 35 years of service, and was replaced by a 20 year veteran of the company.  His parts manager can boast 33 years with the company, while his lead mechanic is nearing his 29th year.  The Company’s Office Manager has almost 27 years helping Hahn Motor Company customers.  It is this pride and dedication that allows the company to boast of enjoying a work force where more than 51% of the employees have been with the company for over 14 years.

The tradition of company loyalty and longevity is best shown with the Hahn family itself.  Hahn Motor Company was started by Carl Hahn in 1924, he passed the reins of the company to his son, Dick, in 1956.  The next generation of the family is currently deeply involved in the operation of the dealership

Hahn Motor Company has always been more than just a dealership.  It takes great pride in being extremely active in supporting its community, schools, charitable organizations, and non-profit agencies.  For more than 86 years Hahn Motor Company has supported the community we call home.  This is the Hahn Motor Company way.
